Granite State InfoSec Consulting now supporting Non-Profits and NGOs

Even non-profits and NGOs aren't safe from information and cybersecurity threats - putting the people they support at risk of further ordeal. GSIC stepping up to help.

What an honor to attend the first annual “Overcoming Digital Barriers Summit” of the United Way of Greater Nashua!

Non-profits and their support network of businesses are just as exposed to Information Security and Cybersecurity threats as any other organization – but when they’re hit, often times humans who are already having a hard time in life are getting affected also.

Imagine someone struggling due to an illness, trauma, abuse – now also losing their support system, their financial stability, their feeling of safety, etc. due to a scam or hack.

The Meals on Wheels stopped coming. The mental or physical health check-ins stopped happening. The mobility service taking an elderly neighbor to the grocery store didn’t show up. The scammer cleared out the little bit of savings a recovering substance abuser just built up again to start over.

It would be devastating. It could even be catastrophic.

That’s why we decided to get involved not only in the business and public utilities sector, but to also offer our services to non-profits at a discounted rate. We’re all just humans, and we all deserve a chance to keep our information, our data, our financials, and our lives safe and protected from threat actors.
